Our Process

Five steps. No guesswork. No surprises.

Every House & Walls project follows the same disciplined process — from the first call to the final signed-off inspection.

01
Day 1–2

Free Consultation & Site Assessment

We visit the site, listen to your goals, and assess the full scope of work — no pressure, no obligation. You get a straight answer on what's needed and what it will realistically cost before you sign anything.

  • Site walk with a licensed estimator
  • Review of any existing plans or permits
  • Identification of access points, line locations, and code requirements
  • Honest timeline and complexity assessment
02
Day 3–5

Detailed Estimate & Contract

You receive a line-item estimate with zero hidden costs — materials, labor, permits, and any known variables called out explicitly. Once you approve and sign, your start date is locked and materials are ordered.

  • Line-item quote with material and labor breakdown
  • Permit costs included — no surprise add-ons
  • Fixed start date and project schedule
  • Signed contract with clear scope and change-order process
03
1–2 weeks

Permitting & Pre-Construction

We handle all permit applications, coordinate with the city, and stage materials so the crew can move immediately on day one. If your project involves a GC or other trades, we lead that coordination.

  • All permit applications filed and managed
  • Material procurement and staging
  • Coordination with GC, builder, or other trades
  • Pre-construction site safety review
04
Scope-dependent

Installation

Licensed plumbers execute the work to code with daily progress updates, clean jobsites, and zero shortcuts. Inspections are scheduled at each phase milestone — we never bury work before it's been signed off.

  • Daily jobsite progress updates
  • Phase inspections before any work is covered
  • Clean and organized jobsite at end of each day
  • Immediate notification if any scope change is required
05
1–2 days

Final Inspection, Walkthrough & Handover

We walk every system with you, confirm everything operates correctly, pass final inspection, and hand over full warranty documentation and as-built records. The job is not done until you are satisfied.

  • Full system test before final inspection
  • Walk-through with homeowner or GC
  • Final municipal inspection passed
  • Warranty documentation and as-built drawings delivered
